Dr. John McGraw, Guest Preacher

Dr. McGraw has had a distinguished career as an orthopedic surgeon, and is also an excellent preacher. We were blessed as John shared his heart with us.

Dr. McGraw joined the Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic in 2003, after more than 14 years of practice in Laurel, Mississippi. Dr. McGraw anchors the KOC Jefferson City office where he sees patients exclusively and performs surgery at Tennova/Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He has served in multiple medical staff positions including Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery and Board of Directors.

Col. (Retired) McGraw finished over 34 years of commissioned military service in April 2013. He served 4 combat tours, the final one coming in 2011-2012 at a Forward Operating Base Hospital in southeastern Afghanistan. He received multiple military honors, awards and decorations including the Meritorious Service Award. He served in both the US Air Force and Army both active duty, Reserves and Air National Guard.

Dr. McGraw and his wife Ann make their home on a cattle farm in East Tennessee and have quickly established themselves in the Lakeway area. They have two grown children and 3 perfect grandchildren. He is co-owner of WJFC AM/FM in Jefferson City and received the Community Patriot Award from Jefferson County High School in 2010 where he serves as team Orthopaedic Surgeon. He continues to help the KOC physicians that serve as team doctors for the Tennessee Smokies baseball team.
